Pitaya - Privacy Policy

At Pitaya, we respect and value your privacy. This privacy policy aims to inform you about the data we collect when you use our application, how we use that data, and where it is stored.

Data Collection

Pitaya collects usage data but does not collect any personal information. The usage data collected includes food preferences and reviews but does not include private notes.

In TestFlight beta builds, Pitaya may log crash reports to your device that you can explicitly choose to share (otherwise, it will not leave your device). These reports do not contain any identifiable information. In essence, your data remains your data, and it will not be shared with any third parties in any form.

Data Storage

Pitaya stores all analytics data, including usage data, in the Vercel Database, which is controlled by us. This is separate from any data stored in your private iCloud database, which we do not have access to.

You can request the removal of your data from the Vercel Database at any time. This can be done by pressing the Clear Personal List button in the app and connecting to the network, or by sending an email to [email protected].

Any data stored in iCloud is subject to Apple privacy policy.
